Jurica Jelic
Jurica Jelic (b.1986) is a Croatian contemporary composer, who represents his work in form of microtonal, instrumental and electroacoustic music that is written for microtonal ensembles, bands, computers, solo performances, film and theatre. His love for music has been developed since an early age and after years of playing rock, blues and jazz music he discovered fretless guitar and wonderful world of microtonal tunings. Later his music has been woven with computer generated sounds mainly made with csound and other software. Over the years Jurica composed, collaborated and shared a stage with many bands and artists like “Vjestice”, Tony Dubshot”, “Dan Stearns”, “Marina Vesic”, “Vincent Bergeron” “The Alibor” to name a few. Also he made a few film and theare scores toghether with Samuel (Srdjan) Sacher and recorded and produced a couple of albums for other bands and musicians.
